April – Sep, Mon to Fri 9.00am – 5pm (6pm on weekends and Bank Holidays).
Oct – Mar, Mon to Fri 9.00am – 4pm (5pm on weekends and Bank Holidays).
Car parking: Charge £1/day, Season tickets £31 (valid at both centres in Afan Forest Park).
On-Site: Information service, gift shop, bike shop, bike wash, first aid station, Toilets (located in visitor centre and car park), refreshments, Cafe & South Wales Miners Museum in Visitor Centre.
Easy Access: Beamer Tramper hire and access to beamer tramper trail (Beamer Trampers are a great way to see the forests of Afan Forest Park. The Class 3 all terrain vehicles allow less able visitors to enjoy two of the walking trails and a day out with the rest of the family. You can hire them from Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre).
Mountain Biking: Starting point for The Rookie, Blue Scar, Penhydd, and Y Wal mountain bike trails.
Cycling: Starting point for Rheilfordd cycling trail and joining point onto National Cycle Route 887.

Walking & Horse Riding: Starting point for many walks and access to bridle paths.
Camping: Camping £3.40 p.p.p.n tent pitches only (showers £1.40/ 5 minutes).
