What’s left of what I consider to be my first real proper MTB back in the day, had it all, kit included Kona Cindercone Race Light Cro Mo frame, Panaracer tyres Smoke out back and Dart up front, Mavic wheels, Orange Ram Rod bars, Velocity stem, USE anodised seat post, shark fin, Shimano SPDs, Grip Shift, Selle Italia Flight titanium saddle, Sun Ringle anodised bottle cage, Shimano XT Mech, home made lights for night riding, and of course my Marzocchi XC600 Suspension forks.

Marzocchi XC600 Suspension Forks – The mutts nuts back in the day, I saved hard for what seemed like ages, a whole 2.5″ of air sprung travel, adjustable compression and lockout, super cool and light (for the day anyway).

I’m not ashamed to say, I had the matching Kona lycra race kit also, kind of glad I haven’t got any photos of that though! 🙂
