This was my commuter for a while, the idea was, light, fast, and reliable, as my commute covers a variety of terrain and surfaces, and it was indeed light, fast, reliable and fun, loved it, but for prolonged commuting over a fairly long distance it turned out to be not the most efficient, basically I got fed up of people on 700c wheeled road bikes cruising past me for the same effort, so with durability and all year round commuting in mind a Cyclocross bike was on the cards.
